  • LACK OF FLEXIBILITY in the shoulders, back muscles, hips, and tops of the legs can lead to injury and chronic pain. How does this happen? Working at a computer all day, commuting to work, lifting weights, and carrying children around the house all contribute to a “locked up” spine.

    A locked up spine is at least 8x more injury prone than a loosy-goosy one. In this way, mobility and flexibility are essential for long-term spinal health.

  • LACK OF STRENGTH in your core leaves your spine unsupported and vulnerable. The abdominal muscles are actually spine support muscles, and a week gut means you’re at risk for injury. When you strengthen your core, your strengthening your spine—it’s that simple.

  • STRESS & TENSION in the muscles supporting the spine act like tight cables yanking at your vertebrae.

    Both physical and emotional stress go right into your upper back, neck, and shoulders as you clench those muscles in reaction to a high-pressure situation. Tense muscles crank and yank instead of stretching and yielding… all of which exacerbate the problem.

  • LACK of MOVEMENT in our day-to-day lives means that most of us simply do not twist, shake, rotate, bend backwards or forwards nearly enough (if at all); and as they say, “If you don’t use it, you lose it,” and so this is why people throw out their back doing the simplest of movements like lifting a box from the floor… ouch!

More like a traditional yoga class integrating the hammock prop to increase the benefits of the Asanas (postures); versus other aerial approaches, where the hammock & flying is the focus, and yoga is more in the background. In an Aerial Yoga class, we identify areas where tension (and stress) is chronically held, and use the hammock to help us release those areas of chronic tension. The result is relaxation of our nervous system. The Aerial Yoga technique helps us to achieve postural alignment through relaxation rather than effort.

Introductory Pole Class

      Introductory class is your first step to begin YOUR Pole journey!


Intro to pole is offered for those who are new to pole dancing & fitness or hesitant with the concept of pole dancing & fitness as a form of exercise. Introductory class consists of basic pole holds, spins and floorwork to create a complete dance routine. This is a beginner class and suited for ALL fitness levels. Be prepared to use muscles you have never used before and have a ton of FUN!

We highly recommend online registration to reserve your pole.

No spectators or CHILDREN allowed in classes, NO EXCEPTIONS, unless otherwise noted.

**Please note this class is generally offered every Tuesday night** at 7:00pm and Wednesday's And Friday's at 10:00am. ** If not on these days due to Cheeky events, Intro will be offered on another night. Check our schedule for the most updated information or call us!**
