Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for classes?
1. Create your FREE account. Please be sure to read over "Studio Policies" and "Frequently Asked Questions" in full before attending classes and making a class purchase. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been created.
2. Purchase your class(es) under the "Buy Classes" tab. You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been received.
3. Only after purchasing your class(es) online you will be able to add yourself to your desired class on our calendar found under the "Schedule" tab. You will receive an email confirmation once you have added yourself to our schedule.
Do you accept walk-ins?
No. In order to guarantee each student has her own pole, a previously paid reservation is required before coming to a class. All payments and scheduling of classes are done online, unless other arrangements have been made with studio.
How should I dress for class?
Fitted tank tops and shorts are the best choices, but definitely something with bare arms and bare legs – it helps you "cling" to the pole. You can workout in bare feet or socks; shoes are not required; however, wearing heels can increase the intensity of your workout and you will really feel it in your thighs and booty.
Is there anything I cannot wear?
To ensure your safety, no body/hand lotion or oils are allowed while on the pole. No jewelry, such as rings or bracelets. Outdoor shoes CANNOT be worn in the studio.
What should I bring to class?
Typical workout items include a water bottle and towel. Each student will need knee pads, we suggest buying your own and are available at Walmart, Kmart or Sports Authority for about $6.00. We recommend purchasing 6 inch stiletto dance heels when you feel comfortable. We recommend completing a few classes before graduating to your heels. We carry a wide variety of dancing shoes on our Online shoe store.
Where are you located?
Main Studio is located on 370 Business Park Way #113 Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411 (in the U-Store It Center).
When does a new class begin. Can I join in the middle of a course schedule?
Each class is a self-contained course that breaks down and explains new moves. You can join the program at any time and not feel that you’ve missed earlier lessons.
Is the introductory class required before I can attend regular classes?
No, the introductory class is not required. It is only offered for those students who are hesitant with the concept of pole dancing as exercise. For those students, the introductory class teaches the basics of pole dancing.
Is there an initial membership fee, or ongoing monthly fees?
No, there are no membership fees of any kind. You only pay for classes in which you are registered.
I am shy; who will be watching me?
The only people that will see you during the workout time are the other women students, who are just like you. Everyone is doing the same thing, so it creates a safe and friendly environment for your workout. The programs are intended to encourage physical fitness and raise your self esteem. We want you to open up and be happy with yourself no matter how you look. The bottom line is that it’s just a bunch of ladies working out and having fun. That’s not so scary, is it?
