Who said pole dancing was just for strippers anyway?

Men and women of all shapes, sizes, and ages are flocking to take classes for what is now one of the most fashionable ways to tone up and stay in shape while boosting self esteem.

Designed with the modern woman in mind, Cheeky Fitness Pole Dancing & Fitness Studio in Royal Palm Beach has ample space for participants to spin, climb or swing on poles rooted in the wooden floors of it's 2000 square foot studio. Classes are small, providing a secure and professional atmosphere. There is no nudity allowed, nor are any spectators.

Most of the pole dancing classes at Cheeky Fitness are approximately 50 minutes in length which makes it a quick alternative to other forms of cardiovascular activity.  Classes are designed for beginning and intermediate fitness levels with a "go at your own pace" environment. 

The introductory pole class is $20. Choose from a variety of classes or take the "Cheeky Challenge" where first, second and third place prizes are awarded to participants after an eight week course of pole dancing, pole conditioning or Zumba classes,(also offered at the studio.) Group, semi-private and private lessons are also available at an additional fee, as well as package deals of six or 12 pole dancing classes.

Pole dancing is one of the best forms of cardiovascular exercises around. It burns roughly between 400-800 calories an hour depending on the intensity and duration of the routine. Participants can expect to increase muscle strength while developing improved posture, balance and flexibility.Because pole dancers must have a great deal of upper and lower body strength to hoist their bodies around the poles, arms, thighs and buttock muscles are quickly developed.

Perhaps the best thing about pole dancing is that it's so much fun, you won't even realize how fast your body is burning calories. Pole dancing is often compared to belly dancing in that is a powerful form of sexual expression.  Many women report feeling an increase in self confidence  and empowerment after taking a class.
